Balenciaga Paris by Pamela Golbin
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
The Easter Bunny came early this year bringing me this extraordinary book about Balenciaga that I was wishing for. Published at the re-opening of the Musee de la Mode and du Textiles in 2007, it is a comprehensive collection of the couturier's sketches, stories from the press, legal documents, and dozens of other artifacts outlining the history of the fashion house at 10 and 12 avenue George V. Dior described Balenciaga as "the master of us all."
