The Edgars have been announced and alas I was wrong about all three awards I predicted. (I haven't read the winner of the juvenile award because the Spokane library didn't buy the book. I continue nonetheless to hold that the best mystery published this year is the first of the Enola Holmes series by Nancy Springer, The Case of the Missing Marquess.)
