Very pretty -- but I expect only if one doesn't have to shovel it! We're getting a couple of inches in NYC tonight/tomorrow, so the newscasters have gone into full-blown panic mode.

Well, yes, Karen, snow is a lot more welcome when one does not have to move it. We hire somebody to shovel for us, though Bill still gets to do the lower driveway fairly often. I haven't lifted a shovel myself since 2008. When all was said and done we got nearly a foot.

Just came in from pruning the roses and looked at your pic. So foreign to me here in cloudy AZ. I'm sure you are getting lots of reading accomplished so I'm expecting piles of reviews on the horizon.

I've been doing a lot of reading, Kimberly. Also watching people clean and organize my library. : - )

It was 50 here yesterday. By early evening the temp had dropped 20 degrees and it was snowing. Almost white-out conditions. Gotta love Nebraska weather. I don't think we got a foot, though.

Cold, no doubt, but oh, so pretty!

I do live in a lovely neighborhood, Margaret. Most of the houses were built from about 1900 to 1930 (except for that moderne in the picture, which of course is a bit later.)
