Today our house was "deep cleaned." All the heavy furniture was moved, the walls were dusted, ledges above doors and windows cleaned, and Mary's Library was straightened and reorganized.
Here's what it looked like when the cleaners started.
And here's what it looked like when they were done. Every book was taken from the shelf and dusted. I'm extremely grateful to Beverly and Rick for doing this for me.
OK, Mary, inquiring minds want to know - what did you do with all the books that were not shelved - surely they wouldn't have all fit??

You are perceptive, Pamela. (You've done a bit of cleaning and organizing yourself recently.) The books are in boxes in the middle of the room, just out of range of the camera. They are on their way to the attic. I'll post a photo of that interesting space one day, when I think the world is ready for it.

Wow. I'm feeling inspired. Thanks. I think. :)

Les, having a neat room really feels good. I had a team of cleaners do it for me - new paintbrushes in hand to dust every book.
